Get started on the Clam Sauce for the spaghetti. Company coming. Zip cleans the clams he and Lou Van Datta got. Lil ate these for lunch. No thanks, Lil. I'll pass on clams. We're ready to uncover the dining room table from its long sleep. My dining room table which has been lost under the rubble of two years of junque pile-up. With help of sister Lil, we were able to eat family dinner here first time in a loooooong time.

Starla Pointer, long time friend of Shelly's and one who still works at News Register where Shelly worked long time ago. They've played at the country club, mayor's ball every year and other gigs. They play purely for the enjoyment. If band receives money, it goes into music or stuff for the band to use. Lots of Yamhill county persons make up the big dance band sound of this great band. They play mostly tunes of the 40s. Shelly on bass. Pat and Lil in SRO audience. People were turned away as formerly armory building was full to capacity.

Seats filled and soon the balcony was too with standing people. The "track" balcony goes all around the gym. The crowd continues to grow larger. My lovely daughter, the bass player . . . [smile] Sousa number and dance numbers; a real variety; something to please everyone. I should look into playing a band instrument. This looks fun.

A friend of ours, Rose Marie, who keeps downtown looking green, freshly planted and tidy! Not sure to whom she is speaking. We had strolled the stree twice so it was good to sit down and listen to the good music. Turkeyrama music area. The band is persons who use to play instruments and wanted to play again in late adulthood. They were very, very good. Mark is still suffering from 4 wisdom teeth removal on 7/8/05. See anyone you know? Some high school students join in too. Maybe we'll get a chance to hear them again some day soon.

Eric tries out this hang/slide. This is undoubtedly the neatest park in the county. What fun the people were having there today. A really large crowd using all parts of this park in South McMinnville. The stuff they're standing on feels like marshmallows. Nifty and soft. Appears to be the largest park too!
